I think you need to liven it up a bit more. Jumpcuts, music, speaking less monotone, having a more interesting background... (If you can't nail a white expanse, don't use a white expanse.)
I wasn't trying for a white expanse, the bnackround is a bit messy with out the paper. I know I needed to get the bench in camera more. the couch tutorial is going to be better(I hope).
Would a different type of voice besides my normal voice help?
No, just be a bit more lively. You're speaking very much all on one level.
