The lighting through the grate is a nice touch.
That's actually some pretty good lighting there.
However, it might be just a little better if the light were shining upon the character themselves. Either illuminating their faces or perhaps giving some rim lighting. Otherwise it draws a little bit too much attention to the rubbish in the corner.
