I don't think there's really a need for a topic like this, as usually comments for films are put into their topics in the releases forum, where the creator is more likely to find it.
However, if you don't have anything particularly important to add to the discussion of an old topic, you could always just leave a comment on YouTube instead, as to avoid bumping a really old post.
Actually bumping old posts in the.directory is not frowned upon, often times it can bring an older film to the attention of newer members who might not have had a chance to see it when it came out.
Squid and Sloth have explained things. Please feel free to bump threads in the Releases forum to give your comments on films! (As long as you have something insightful to add. Don't bump a years-old thread to say "cool!")
