Topic: HitFilm 3 Express - FREE!

Good old HitFilm, they've decided to release their HitFilm 3 Express for free. If you have been on this site for a while now, you'll probably remember when they released the HitFilm 2 Epress for free; now they're releasing an even better version.

However, after a bit of experimentation, it turns out that a lot of the presets and effects from HitFilm Express 2 are now add ons which can cost up to £20; even £70 pounds for the more complex effects which only used to come with the Ultimate version.

Cool, I'll download this. I missed out on HitFilm 2 Express last year, so I went ahead and downloaded it so if it goes away, I'll have it. I'm not sure how good the software is, but I may as well have it anyway!

I'm getting it as well. I liked HitFilm 2 Express, but I never actually got around to learning how to use it well.

I used to use this when it was called Vision Lab Studios (I actually used it to create lightning effects in Beyond the Eleventh Dimension) I wonder what the new version adds
