okay, time to post the first update!

This image shows a set for a scene that connects to the previous one (note the exact same railway). We don't have the details on the left, instead more details added on the right. The previous shot didn't need far background details, because it was set at night, in the dark. Here I had to add also those background details, and a blue screen. In fact, I didn't have time to make a blue-screen in the past months, wich made me pause with the brickfilming.

The bluescreen: basicly a piece of cloth with grip, so I can switch between this bluescreen and a Greenscreen made with the same specifics. Of course this sistem will be used in any future projects.

These Images show a detail of the scene: the post-apoc. bedroom of some disastrated house. I wanted to post this to show the atmosphere of the Zone. Again, go on Pre-production page to read the explanation of the project. Note: Second image is an actua frame from the Movie.

short update: A few dats ago kosmos productions moved, as planned I've shot not only all of the bluescreen scenes for my other projects, but also all the in-room scenes, wich makes me feel delighted, as I wasn't expecting such an early completion. A funny fact: I was expecting ad Tenebras to be 6-7 minutes long, but as a nalmost finished project now it lasts about 10-11 minutes. Anyhow, I'm back at shooting Stalker: Mirror of conscience. Orecisely it's last scene. I'll show in the next post, now enjoy a shot of how a moving filming studio looks like:

This won't be my last post in this thread, as I still haven't released a few production photos, but, well, today marks the end of the filming process of Stalker: Mirror of Conscience.
I remembered beginning to work on this project around december, though I figured out by looking at the pre-production thread that I've started on the 26th of july in 2014, almost a year ago. With release date being on the 4th, I can say that Stalker is out after more than a year from it's beginning, though I can't say that i worked for a year and a month, I took several pauses due to school duty.
While filming this movie, I feel that I gradually upgraded my brickfilming tecnique. Still not being perfect, I feel it's better than what I had done with "Truth", E.g. the first greenscreen scene was shot with a cardboard greenscreen, then I came up with a more advanced one. Also the first shots weren't shot on the current, sturdy desk. This is also my first brickfilm being shot in two countries: principal shooting was done in Italy, in my bedroom's studio, while several scenes were shot While I was in vacation at my other home in Hungary (I like to call myself "a Hungarian from Italy").
Even If I haven't finished working on this movie, I still have to do voicing and a few post production edits, this is a miliar point in the completion of this film: the big part is done, now the last 25% of work is left. Luckily enough I have still two months before release date to do it.

Ohh, but this is not based off the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. videogame, and is not set in Pripyat or Chernobyl.  It's based off Tarkovskij's film and the book wich inspired S.T.A.L.K.E.R. aswell, but e.g. in the book there are six different zones and the one the book is focused on is set in the U.S., while Tarkovskij's movie gives no hint about the location, while none are radioactive zones. The connection with chernobyl has been done by the developers of the videogame.
I've chosen to give no specific location to this aswell, and any reference to places, factions and people (such as a CCCP on the Stalker's jeep) are purely casual. This reminds me, also the pronounciation of 'Stalker' is slightly taken from the Tarkovskij movie, but not for geographical purposes, but  to differ it from what  are stalking and stalkers outside  in real life.
  Still, thanks for pointing that out.
