Topic: I can't record sound.

I don't really know what's the problem. Every time I try to record something with my microphone, I get this message (I'm using audacitu 2.0.6):

''Latency Corretion setting has caused the recorded audio to be hidden before zero. Audacity has brought it back to the start at zero.
You may have to use the Time Shift Tool (<---> or f5) to drag the track to the right place''

I don't really know what's the problem . It's seems like he's recording but I don't see any sound waves appearing. The timer also stays at zero. What should I do?

Re: I can't record sound.

I researched this issue, but found no real answers. Are you sure the correct microphone is selected? That could be an issue.

Here is a page on the Audacity manual that you may find useful. At the very bottom, there is some content about the error, but it doesn't say much:

Yes I did select the correct microphone. This is what my situation looks like:http://updo.nl/file/510877b9.png

Re: I can't record sound.

Have you tried re-installing Audacity? Perhaps you could also try installing an older version.
