Topic: Is the Canon T5i worth getting?

After looking over the T3i and trying to find it in store with no luck, I've been pushed towards the T5i instead and although the price boost is a bit of a con for the camera itself, I hear it is actually better compared to the T3i and I was wondering if it is actually worth it.

Although I haven't used a t3i much, and many people here use the t2i or t3i, I must say my t5i is really nice. The image quality, functionality, usability, etc. is pretty good, and, for having very little experience with a dslr, I've been able to learn how to use the camera quite well. As far as price goes, I was lucky enough to get the t5i for $250 off, putting it within $50 of the t3i at the time. So, if you find a deal, I'd go with it, otherwise, save the extra money, and use it for a nice lens or something else. That's my 2 cents.

Thanks man, and since black friday is this friday I'll mostlikely get it for a good deal. Any footage from the camera you could share?

t3i and t5i produce identical still images, as Canon hasn't updated their sensor technology in many years. There are a few new features here and there, though.
