Re: Pictures of your studio

Thanks for the great post, SteveStarfyTV. I love how you've added to the conversation with your one smilie.

Looks like you've got lots of room to work with, Emayesoen (And I thought your old username was tough to spell mini/confused)

Re: Pictures of your studio

Um, refering to my recent picture posts, I was wondering, should I put paper over my lamplight?

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Sarcasm? o well. i though it was easier (and a lot shorter) once you start getting used to it, it'll become easier. Even smeagol liked my old name better... lol  mini/sweat  . Anyways- back to topic. Thanks for that wonderful smiley stevestarfytv. mini/yes  .

EDIT- to eddie- yea- reduced light flicker.

Re: Pictures of your studio

Thanks! I need to reduce light flicker on my vids!

Re: Pictures of your studio

I recently tidied up my room, so this is my "Studio".

I previously had the PC on the left. I moved it to the right as I find myself using my Macbook Pro as my main computer these days, and it leaves the desk directly in front of me open for animating on.

Re: Pictures of your studio

ay-yai-ay! where da legos?!?!?

Re: Pictures of your studio

There might already be a thread on this but I can't find it.

I have limited space in my room but I would like to see where people make their awesome films . So it would be great if you guys could post some pictures of your film set or provide some tips on what you guys use it would be great.

I don't have pictures yet, but I just put my set on a table then put lights on both sides. For the lights I just tape a peice of paper over it to make it more even at least that's what the tutoritals say. Then I bring my laptop over and plug in the webcam. Open helium frog and audacity and my script and get rocking.
For greenscreens I usually find something about as tall as a peice of paper and tape red construction paper to it. The reason I use red is becuase most times I have blue or green legos. On the contrary if I had a red brick house I might use blue or green. It's constution paper so it doesn't really matter right? Then it's a pain in the neck to adjust the lights so that it comes out right. You can see the result here:
http://www.youtube.com/user/BrickSmiley?feature=mhsn
(you have to fast forward to about 22 secs. The background is the greenscreen or should I say red screen.)

So yeah, just tell me about your set and maybe a picture would be nice.

Thanks Guys and Gals

Re: Pictures of your studio

My studio is in the basement and it takes up a pretty big amount of space. I have two small drawer sets where I keep bricks and accessories. The rest is actually scattered all over the place and often I loose stuff and find it in a few weeks right under my nose. I would keep everything organized if I didn't have a little brother...
I'm actually bugging my parents to by me another table for building materials and my computer. If that happens, I'll take a few pictures of my studio.

Re: Pictures of your studio

i just have a table- and put a tall chair next to me which holds my computer. what really annoys me is my fish tank. if it wasn't there, I'd be set.

Wow, Sean you have like no lego!  mini/tongue

Is that a joke?

Used to be 'Caidence'

Re: Pictures of your studio

Sounds like an exaggeration.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: Pictures of your studio

I envy you and your fancy Dragon remote Sean. Still, very clean compared to mine.
