Is there a particular subject or question you have about setbuilding or studio arrangements? That's kind of what this whole forum is about.

As Smeagol pointed out, can you be more specific in terms of what you mean by set up of a studio.

Well i was wondering what would be the best light bulbs for lego filming like fluorescnt or daylight. And i mean by setting
up a studio, that you explain what is the best way to set up your lights at certain angles and your camera angles depending on the scenes.

Re: Tips and ideas for setting up your set.

All of that depends on what your scene needs. There are no light bulbs that are better or worse than other bulbs. Although, if you want a more universal lighting setup, I recommend fluorescent daylight (the whiter) bulbs. I personally have 2 daylights lamps, and one with a yellower tint. It is said that fluorescent bulbs flicker, but I have not had a problem with them, I use them because they aren't as hot as incandescent, and if you have them on for longer amounts of time, they are much more energy efficient.

As for setting up the lamps, that depends on the scene. You should probably research some lighting techniques. Camera angles (or cinematography) is another thing to look into. The camera and lighting can really make the movie, or destroy it. Try watching some movies (animated or live action) and observe how the lighting and camera angles effect the scene.
