Right now, I'm kind of in a spot where I don't have a favourite. I don't really collect LEGO as much as I used to, because me and my brothers already have a lot of LEGO. I make do with what I have. But, I do remember liking LEGO City a lot, before it got repetitive.
In 2010, I got the LEGO Pizza Shop set. It included a bike store, a bus/bus stop, and multiple minifigures. For Christmas--that same year--my brother got the Cargo Train (the yellow one). We built that train straightaway, right there at my grandparents' house. We played with it, and it fell off the table. But, we rebuilt it, because that's the marvelous thing about LEGO. You can build, and rebuild, and rebuild, and rebuild, and rebuild.
Now, my brother likes to collect the Modular sets. All the hard-to-find, exclusively-from-LEGO-Stores-and-the-Internet, three-story ones, like the LEGO Palace Cinema and the Pet Shop. Me and my family like to joke around that

he could be the live-action Lord Business from The LEGO Movie as a kid, always liking to keep his sets in the best possible condition.
In fact, he goes bonkers when I want to deconstruct his vehicles and sets, so I can use pieces for my brickfilms.
But lately, as I said before, LEGO is tiredly recycling and rehashing sets, just for the sake of throwing stuff on toy store shelves. I mean, just take a look at this.
Seem familiar?
LEGO used to be all about taking careful care of putting out quality sets for fans of all ages. Now, they're shamelessly redoing their dino-themed sets.
Once again, seem familiar?
More on-topic, I don't currently have a favourite theme. But, I do quite like LEGO Castle. I've always wanted to make a medieval-themed brickfilm. But, I never did because I simply didn't have enough pieces for it. I do, however, have various medieval clothes, swords, and accessories for minifigures. But, if I ever feel like actually going out to buy some LEGO, I'll probably have my mind set on buying some LEGO Castle sets.
Have you seen a big-chinned boy?
