I have recently tried to enter my project onto LEGO Ideas and it rejected it for having a custom mold.
I'm not the best at building LEGO MOCs, but I tried. Tell me what you think of it.

I took the head of the Golden Dragon from the Ninjago set (http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Golden-Dragon-70503), applied putty to change the shape and structure of the head, and finally painted over it.

Sadly, LEGO Ideas didn't allow my project entry of my Godzilla because of the head.
I'd prefer to see a brick-built head and green pats (this may be a prototype, though), but very cool.

I was going to ask on this topic if someone on the forum could collaborate with me to build the head. I don't know.
I would offer to help..but sadly I'm terrible at designing MoCs 
There are some examples that you could take some inspiration from, however.
I'm not saying copy, or god forbid try to REBUILD any of these, merely take inspiration, from the heads namely.

Hey, at least they reviewed yours. My younger brother's idea was never reviewed, and they rejected it immediately, without any valid reason. Just for the sake of rejecting something. But, your model looks really cool, and I commend you for at least trying.
That most recent pic is Mecha-Godzilla.

I highly doubt that they just rejected it for the sake of rejecting it. I think they can only accept idea suggestions from members who are over 18 for legal reasons or something like that. That's likely what happened.

"You fat shammed Godzilla" , although it kinda does still look like the giant lizard from the 1998 tristar movie. The kaiju is decent but it just doesn't look to right for me.
