Alice In Wonderland

Was a nice Disney classic, it's actually pretty dark and harsh. No wonder Tim Burton wants to make film about it.

School of Rock

Jack Black, hilarius guy with great taste of music, the film was ok

DVD REVIEW

Watchmen The Director's Cut: 2-Disc Digital Copy Edition

It finally arrived! mini/delirium
The front of the carton is just a beautiful 3D cover, wich was pleasing
extras were disapointing, just the video journals they already posted on the net, and a sorta boring documentary, and the crappy song/videoclip of "My Chemical Romance"
luckaly the cover makes up for it mini/smile
And of course the amazing director's cut, hopefully the ultimate edition will have way better extras

Haha fixed it for you!

Where the Wild Things Are

First of all, I have to say that the average American theater audience sucks. I want to be able to watch a movie without a running commentary from the !@#$%^ behind me.

I think it's definitely uneven in some ways, but I really have to admire it for its audacity. Beautifully filmed.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Man, I want to see it, but I almost want to wait until the DVD comes out, because I KNOW there will be kids at the theater.

That's odd. I've only been to one movie recently that had more than about five people in the theater, including me and anyone else who came with me, so usually I am spared the commentary.

Aladdin

Got an old VCR at a garage sale and watching some Disney classics.  Aladdin is awesome, Robin Williams is a beast in it.

What ever happened to Disney?  They use to make such good movies! (Aladdin, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, etc).  Now all we get from them is Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers and talking guinea pigs mini/confused

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Disney suck.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

It's so true. Pre-2000 Disney is chock-full of classics. Today . . . yeaach, it's hit and miss.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I hope Toy Story 3 isn't rubbish.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Pixar is hit after hit. It's Disney themselves that's the problem. Walt would be ashamed.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Toy story was animated by PIXAR though.

Yeah, I'm generally used to seeing movies in Berlin, and European audiences seem to be more well-behaved in general.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

A lot of times we are the only ones in the theater...

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Yeah, same here. Usually there's only like 5-10 people there.

The costumes were my favourite part. I saw it this weekend, better than expected. mini/smile

The Evil Dead

I have finally seen the first of this legendary trilogy, and I must admit it was great. And it was less grotesque then I thought it would be! -yay- I was expecting the worst. Bruce Campbell was awesome, now I understand why he gets cameos in each Spiderman film. I didn't get the

Overall, another good Halloween Horror film. mini/bigsmile

Blade Runner

Wow. This is the best movie I've seen in a long time. In some places, the pacing was so good that it actually affected my breathing. Sometimes with 'classic' movies, I'll say they're good just because everyone else says they're good, but this is not the case here. Cinematography, CGI plot, all fantastic. 5/5
