Die Another Day

By far my favorite James Bond movie. I watched this for day 3 on my quest. I loved every bit of it.

That was always my least favorite Bond movie.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

This is the first harry Potter film that I have not read the book before I watched the film, so I can't say much about the script. I really liked it most of the time, I just felt there was a few gaps.

The Island

Very good. A nice unique film. By far my favorite Micheal Bay film. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Scarlett Johansson.

Anyways, I will be posting mini text reviews of the films I watched each day on my twitter. Just click my sig when you see it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Man on Wire

I thought it was excellent. I was a little confused about the aftermath of everything, but overall, very good.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Corpse Bride

Still one of my favorite movies! Professional animators are truly blurring the line between Stop-Motion and CGI. Yet it still contains a certain quality that only Stop-Motion can deliver
5/5

Horton Hears A Who (CGI VERSION.)
Not as great as the book, but good. I didn't like the diolog at some points, e.g. "Hey I guess they do build themselves" "Okay, that happened...". and this other line "Just try to keep it to yourself, I'll see ya later. Try".  Those kind of lines just annoy me. I liked a lot of the gags in here, like the banana launching armpits. Also when the Who Mayor got his dental shot in his arm, and his arm got all floppy and slapped the two people who were waiting on the way running out. I think the people who moddled everything did a really good job at capturing the Dr. Suess feel. Also, the voices were really good. I liked the Narrator's voice. I don't think the casting person did a good job with Horton though. He sounded too goofy, but in the book, he was usually serious. But whatever. Overall, I give this movie 4 out of 5.

Ratatouille
The story was good, the animation was good. Nothing to complain about.
4 out of 5.

Coraline x3

Once in 3D, once in 2D, and once in 2D with the Henry Selick commentary... mini/bigsmile
The 3D on the DVD was better than I thought. It uses Magenta/Green glasses instead of Red/Blue. Looks good, especially at night.

Pulp Fiction

I never get tired of this Tarantino classic.

Reservoir Dogs

I never get tired of this Tarantino classic.

mini/lol  I think Night Owl blows a head gasket whenever anybody says they like Michael Bay in any way, shape or form.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Don't shoot me, but something about Spielberg films kind of bugs me for some reason. I'm not quite sure why...   they just feel sort of forced and strange...

Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins
A pretty funny movie. Not my favorite, but it had its jokes.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Man on Wire

This documentary is one of the greatest I have seen. You may say to yourself "olol documentary? documentareez r boring" but this documentary is far from boring. It kept me captured throughout the whole film and I was not bored at all. It was very good. The video with the storytelling was absolutely great. Everyone should watch this film.

Harry Potter and the Half blood Prince

I was somewhat disappointed with this film immediately after it ended, but the more I visualized it in my head the more I like it. I really liked that they brought back Quidditch in this film. I love that sport. But overall, I thought there was a lack of awesome magic throughout the film , until close to the end. (Dumbledore sents a lake on Fire!!!) I wish they had more Apparation things from the book in this film. That could have made me more content with the low magic in this film. Also, I though the ending was thoroughly ruined. I imagined the whole ransacking of Hogwarts to be more awesome like in the book, but the film missed that whole part. I enjoyed this film, but it had its flaws

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Alien
must say...the first one is a real masterpiece. I don't want to watch the sequels. It's perfect to watch on the "big screen".

Citizen Kane
You should know this: the best movie ever made. Exellent plot and direction. 10/10

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

You could still see Alien II (aliens), they say that one is also really good. (directed and written by James Camerron, TERMINATOR/TITANIC AUHEM)

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

MPfist0, at least see Aliens (the first sequel). It's just about as good, if not better, than the first Alien (though they're incredibly different films).

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Beetlejuice

I found it...strange,yet very well done. The special effects and stop-motion in the film was amazing.
