This movie kicked ass in so many ways.
Stay through the credits.  Check out the Software Development team.  Also, count how many major special effects companies joined to make this film.  Epic.

Vantage Point

I feel like this film could've been a lot longer, but it was pretty cool. The concept was amazing, and I loved how everything tied together. Awesome movie.

No, no, that movie was long enough, thank you. You can only retell the same event so many times. It was a pretty good movie, though.

Good film, not much in the way of plot but the fight scenes were very well done and I rather liked the stylised look etc.

THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAA!

Batman Begins

For some reason I hadn't got 'round to seeing the new Batman films. I now understand the obsession with them, Begins was amazing in every aspect. I need to see The Dark Knight now

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Vantage Point STUNK!! mini/madhead

Seriously, they swear over and over until it becomes comical.  Are they trying to make it look dark and serious?  FAIL.
How many times can you go back and see it from another person's perspective until it makes you wish the movie would end?  FAIL

Maybe if it came down to a smaller number and the flash backs were a little better played out and you didn't have to wait 100 flashbacks to see who the crook is from the flashback were the bodygaurd stares at the TV....

Seriously, the whole movie just needed fixing, not as bad as Transformers 2, but still pretty BAD.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Haha, but that's the point of it, cliffhangers make the movie more edge-of-your-seat. And the swearing didn't affect me, I didn't even think that it was overused all that much.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Brothers Bloom
good plot, but I had to watch it twice to totally get it.

District 9
EPIC. I liked the storyline but they say fulk every 5 seconds. yes. fulk. I think it's actually hilarious because that's how the majority of the kids at my school talk. There was a ton of gore, but that makes it fun.

Run to your nearest Video-Rental store and watch it....NOW! It will change your life!

Enchanted

This is one of those movies that I should hate - but I dont. In my opinion, its extremely underrated. It plays on the typical Disney Princess and compares this to real-life - which is surprisingly hilarious.
The Prince is an incopetent and self indulgent fool, who rather than trying to blend in with his modern surroundings, continues on sticking out like a sore thumb. Just watching him walking around in a public place - with a stupidly over-the-top Price Oufit is comic genius in itself.

Overall - this is one of my favourite Disney Films aside from anything made by Pixar, and Pirates of the Caribbean (IT COUNTS!) Its actually Genius in writing, and you can tell that the writers had a blast thinking up of all these Cliche's.

I mean, it was a solid film, I think, but it's not the masterpiece people make it out to be in my opinion.

Are you talking about TDK or 300?

The Muppet Christmas Carrol
Pretty funny, but I don't think Michael Caine was a good choice to act as Scrooge. 4/5.

Collateral
Saw it for the second time, it's one of my favourite movies. 5/5.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Nine
Yes, I saw the musical Nine starring Daniel Day-Lewis. I was expecting more of a musical, but oh well. It kept my attention.  My absolute favorite part was the cinematography. The cast was very passably though, none were that great of singers.

The Kingdom
This 2007 film starred Jamie Foxx deals with terrorists. very actiony, and to much swearing. The cinematography was awesome.  I loved the gunfights and all the explosions.

Sherlock Holmes

Fantastic Movie, Definetly the most awesome film of late 2009.

Spoiler (click to read)

I loved the parts where he thinks out how he is going to beat up a guy before he does it

To be honest I thought Michael Caines acting was quite poor in this movie actually. I didn't see many movies of him, but I thought he did a good job in The Dark Knight.
