Topic: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

Hey guys! I have been a fan of brickfilms for quite some time now, and as I check youtube for the brickfilmers I watched when I was in elementary, I see that many of them have not made any films since as far back as 2007. Many people in the comments of their videos believe these animators have died, but there are many more possibilities. This is a thread where we can remember and respect some of those "dead" (that is, not posting any videos onto youtube for a long period of time) brickfilmers.
List some below and add a message for them if you want (Make sure to add their channel links!)

Re: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

#1, Until we get an official confirmation, there's no reason to believe that a brickfilmer has truly died.
#2, This is a good idea (honoring old and inactive brickfilmers) if it were renamed, but...
#3, Don't let it become like last time someone started a similar thread.

That's all I'm gunna say...
Except for a quick word that making those names into links to their channels would be nice.

Re: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

I believe "Retired Brickfilmers" would be a much more appropriate title.

Thanks guys, needed changes have been made!

Lol, sorry that was a dump mistake. I didn't even explain what I ment that thread to be.

Re: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

Just because someone hasn't created a new public brickfilm doesn't mean that they still don't animate in their free time or do bigger projects for other people.

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?

Re: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

One of my favorite, and most inspirational, brickfilmers is Robinson Wood. He hasn't been acting for a while, but I always love going back and watching his films.

In the original post I stated, "...that is, not posting any videos onto youtube for a long period of time."

Re: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

Another one I used to enjoy when I was younger was:
Tomjoetwins - www.youtube.com/tomjoetwins
I was always amazed by their disaster films, but they have not come out with a film for a year.
Their last Twitter post about their newest project was several months ago.
It's possible they have stopped working on it, but I guess only time can tell.

Re: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

75% of the brickfilms I watched we I was younger were by this guy: https://www.youtube.com/user/JSLegoMaster/videos

Really, I would just watch the four videos he had uploaded at the time over and over again. The other retired brickfilmer I tip my hat to is eanimation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92jpPCzgI_s

I only found his channel recently, but his entry to the LEGO starwars stop motion contest was the first brickfilm I ever watched. Its still funny all these years later too. He also made "Indiana Jones and the Quest For The Platinum Waffle" (also hilarious)

no more brickfilming *sad face*.

Re: Honoring Inactive Brickfilmers

I'm pretty sure Eanimation was one of the very first brickfilmers I saw, at the time of that Star Wars Brickfilm contest. His Platinum Waffle film was truly brilliant, at the time anyway.

I also watched 'pizzamovies' and again at the time, those videos were entertaining.
