I recently saw these on Bricklink, and was wondering if they look good together as a wall. Does anyone have a picture of something like that?

I think they work great for adding texture. So far I've used them for my Derricking Ball and The Meek and the Bold films, though not in the amount featured in the creation above. Be prepared to invest some money into them. They aren't expensive, but they aren't cheap either, and I suspect you'd need upwards of 100-300 of them to make a decent-sized wall.

You can use the "Brick Brick" (I thought I was the only one who called it that) strategically placed as an accent in small groups of 2 or three to a wall or building, and the viewer's mind uses closure to fill in the rest.

Sort of. The other side is similar but not quite the same.
Okay, I'm going to buy them now. I really hate spending $100 on little bits of plastic that will all fit in a tiny Ziploc bag.

I'm yet to get my hands on those, but there some of my favorite bricks, I really want some.
I love that fire station.
I only have two of these from the Beorn Ambush set. 
I really want to get more and have been contemplating getting the Helicopter Surveillance or Helicopter Arrest set since they seem to have the most of these, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get large amounts of these. Is there any wallet-friendly way to obtain a fairly large amount of brick bricks?
The brickbricks i got were from the Robber's Hideout, City Advent Calendar 2012 and the Venomari Shrine. Venomari Shrine is cheap (about six bucks) but doesn't contain a lot of brickbricks, about six. Robber's Hideout is expensive but it contains quite a bunch of them.

The only way to get the really good stuff is in bulk, and the only dealers you'll find are on Cracklink Bricklink. Be prepared to drop large ammounts of money on very little, and be careful not to get in too deep. It's easy to get carried away.
Personally I'm not that fond of the brick bricks. There are some people who have way too many brick bricks and they use those brick bricks in an excess and the wall is just a really plain brick brick wall. The pattern starts to look way too repetitive.
Though, if used in moderation, they can be add some nice detail. I have a small few in dark beige which I'm using for the shop in Welcome to Darkmoor by putting a few in random spots in what would otherwise look a very plain wall.
I also got myself two Hobbit sets which gave me about ten of them in dark grey, which should be nice for adding random bits of detail on my dark grey walls in my Batman film.
My batman film is basically 80% random grey walls.
Though, that fire station is a case where they have been used quite well.

Squid, Yeah! that's the technique I was trying to explain, just I did't have clarity of thought. I don't know why the brick bricks aren't in red yet! Has anyone seen them in red?
Well, it just seems like red is brick coloured.
