Topic: White expanse help

Here is what i go as a sample pictures:

What do you think? Too bright? Idk i just want to make sure its good enough because i have film that is going to require this.

Well for a white expense the background is supposed to be perfectly white but in your picture it has some blue in it.  Some ways to get a perfect white expense on your film are these ways:
Way #1: Bump up the exposure until the background is completely white.  It will make your figure brighter or more white so bump up the exposure as well, so mess around with those two.
Way #2: Add more lamps.
I would go with way 1 because that is the easiest.

Try lighting only the background with two lamps, and relying solely on white cards for the foreground (that bounce light from the background onto the minifig).

ok thanks i am getting a second lamp soon and i didn't notice the blue when i took the picture mini/blankexpression

It looks like the paper you are using for the white expanse may be folded into a right angle. I suggest curving it up against the wall.
