I have an older Finepix model from about six years ago and it lasted me a good long time. Back then I was just beginning at stop-motion, and for that it's great, but eventually I moved onto a DSLR.
I'm not sure what the current models are like, though.
Reasonable. I mean, my Nikon D3100 was a huge step up, but the Fuji I had was still better than a lot of webcams.
I think everything in this folder was on my Fuji, if you want to get a look at quality. The model was S5700 or S700, but it's advanced significantly since then.
does it have manual focus?
No. That was the main drawback. Again, I can't speak for the newest ones, but mine doesn't have manual focus, and nor does it have the capacity to change lens.

That looks good. So could you control it from your computer and all like a web cam?
if it dosint have manual focus don't get it. I animated without manual focus for a while and its awful. ![]()
