Topic: Masking in Photoshop

Hey everyone, I just signed up for Adobe Creative Cloud, and downloaded Photosop CC. I've heard about masking,(and know it involves layers) but how do you do it in Photoshop? I know you need two picture, one with the subject and supports, and then the second pic of just the set. I just don't know how to mask and add layers in Photoshop.

Looks good, one down, who knows how many to go.

Oh, and try to simply edit your posts next time instead of re-posting.

Thanks! This actually isn't for a film, just a test photo to see how easy I would be at masking. BTW, Steam Punk was pretty good!

Re: Masking in Photoshop

One thing that always takes away from things like these are the fact that there are no shadows.

FIX IT

Re: Masking in Photoshop

Yes btu i was going to say don't like leave half a shadow either because then it looks like this crap (i made that so it's ok if i call it crap) so be careful of that. Good luck!

I know, I accidentally ran my mouse through the shadow, so I decided to get rid of it for now.
