If we do create a new character, do we put him in the Character Collection Stage Thread?
I'd advise you to, so that it's clear for everyone to see, but it's not essential. There's no law saying 'thou shalt' or anything.
If the BFCU really catches on, I'll make a wiki so that it's as easy as possible for everyone to see other peoples' characters.

That would be really interesting and helpful.
Anyway, I've got this idea of maybe creating a character, and then basing my stories around him and following his journey.
Also, you said,
Today's world: The world of today, which features the City (and the like), Agents/Alpha Team, X-treme Team, Ninjago and everything else that could easily be present-day. It's also the centre of the BFCU, from which all the other 'worlds' can be accessed (so you can't skip one and go from Castle to Space, you have to go through Today).
Could this be skipped if, for example, a character fell into a wormhole and ended up in ancient times?
I think it would work if there were ways to skip though worlds, but the main and easiest way would be to go through the center. Would this work, jampot?
The Ancient world is another world, so technically you would have to go through Today, although this may take some further thinkering.
@Mighty Wandered yes, although I think it should actually be quite difficult to skip a world. The easier it is, the more lazily you can write it, and while I'm fully encouraging genre-benders I think they need to be well thought-out first.

I'll make something this week. I'll upload it Friday.
Awesome!
I will enter the next challenge, I promise.
I've just been busy working on stuff and yeah. I couldn't think of a better excuse...
I've decided to cancel this month, and better promote next month. Kizar, your entry is appreciated, but as you're the only entrant (and for this month, it looks like it will stay that way) I don't think it can really be called a competition, and it wouldn't really be a win for you. I hope you don't mind, and I shall provide you with an Honorably Mention at the close of next month.
Starting on 1st February, and ending on the 28th February, the theme for February is dangerous by daylight!
Again, you can interpret this however you like. Obviously, Valentine's Day is this month, as are Groundhog Day and the birthday of Abraham Lincoln, but you do not have to tie them into your film at all. The theme this month is quite subversive, as normally when you see monsters like vampires and werewolves they are only active at night, but you are encouraged to think of something - monsters or otherwise, everything is welcome - that is active and dangerous during the day.
Examples: An evil, solar-powered robot? Angry light elves? Sunburn? Feel free to use any of these, but try to think of something new if you can. After all, this challenge is about creativity, and is what you'll be mostly judged on.
The winner will be able to choose March's theme. I've changed the rules. Yeah.
Please try to enter, if you're at all interested!
