Topic: What's the Best Wattage for a globe for brickfilming?

I've got a 15w globe currently installed and I haven't brickfilmed with it yet, however it already seems to not cast enough light. It's about 10cm away from my normal base plate however it only lights up 1/4 of it, with paper covering the lamp. Should I go higher or lower with the wattage? Should I also convert to a halogen considering that I'm using a fluorescent or keep it the same?

Please only answer if you've had some experience with these kind of things.

I use 60 watt fluorescent bulbs, and have only on occasion used 40 watt.
I highly suggest getting brighter bulbs, but make sure your lamp can handle 'em first.

Jesus! 60 watts? I remember reading on FF101's site that he uses 13w. Thanks for your help brother, I'll keep it in mind.

Incandescent, sorry, I use incandescent. Which is way it's so high.

Was that 13 Watts referring to the usage of a fluorescent bulb, and not the 'equivalent brightness to' figure?

Yeah I just realized that you'd have a massive globe for a 60w fluorescent. I'm not really sure what he meant other than it just being 13w.
