Hey Smeagol, is there a preferred format you'd like for Vimeo's sake? I saw 640x360 somewhere. Does Vimeo like WMVs? Thanks.
Back to more sound editing, the story of my last 36 hours (but with a night of sleep in there).
Vimeo seems to be handling wmv alright. Google yields a number of suggestions for Vimeo, so I'm not sure what the absolute best format is.
I've finished all my footage, audio and effects! Now to render it!
Is the first bar of Beethoven's 5th (the duh-duh-duh-DUHHH one) copyrighted, because I searched "orchestra" on Findsounds and it keeps appering everywhere, and I need a sudden, dramatic clip.
EDIT: Dosn't matter, Ive done now and sent my entry in!!!
OTHER EDIT: Uh oh, I havn't finished, I just found out my audio is off sync. Cancel my entry, Smeagol, I'll quickly fix it!

Findsounds isn't great if you want to keep your video copyright-free. The sounds on there are just submitted by anyone, with or (normally) without permission from the copyright holder. Soundsnap is a good one.

What is the contest after this?
BRAWL is a summer contest - that will probably be in August. There's also there's the Halloween contest in October and possibly a Christmas one and then it's THAC.
And several in between.
I am going to make a film right NOW.
That's gonna be interesting to see what you can whip up in 5 hours for a contest.
