Re: The 'GO-Film 2013' update thread!
I'd say it's blue-screen, the green baseplate wasn't wiped out. Nice work on that though!

You might want to adjust the focus so that the character is in focus.
Anyway, progress on mine is incredibly slow, there's a huge chance I won't get this done before the deadline, I've barely animated 2 minutes.
Also, today I animated a really terrible looking shot, fortunately though it's something I could easily come back to later if I have time.
For some reason it looks like they're a gap between the plates at the top, and they look way too close, but that's the only way I could animate it, hopefully I can fix it later.
That looks cool, Jon! You should finish it.
Here's a frame from my entry.
I messed around with the color correction a bit, and I'm not sure if this shot should have a more blue-ish or grey-ish lighting, so I tried combining it. The lighting in the original shot is blue, making it seem like the room is lighted by a blue bulb. The original shot is also a bit over-exposed, so that I had to turn down; I hope it looks better now.
I have finished building the main set and completed all my voice acting.
That looks pretty nice Tobias, I'm guessing he's in a gym or something because it looks like he's holding a weight, and I think I see a running machine in the back.
Oh no a double post oh no whatcha gon do
Just a test shot of the set I just built.
Thanks, the white light that's lighting up the ground is coming from the hole in the floor from the frame a made a few posts back.

Yep, correct.
Those two frames look great, I really like the camera angle and the overall composition in the first one. The lighting in the second one is perfrect. Getting excited.
@Jstudios
That second frame is just great. Love the light coming through. The one on the street needs something extra though, the buildings could use some windows or doors, or at least a fire hydrant on the side walk (But even so, it looks nice.)
UPDATE: Well, no way I will finish in time for the contest. I just started to add to the script more and more. The finished product will probably be about 10 minutes, so I will not have it done by the end of the month.
Literal Man arrives!
That's a real nice frame, END. Some nice quality, and I like the design of the construction crane in the background. Very nice!
I love that quality.
Yeah, the quality is lovely, I like the construction stuff int he background too.
Though I think I can juusst about see the edge of your sky background in the top right corner.
Yeah, I didn't see that (or the set's corner) till after it was completely finished and it wasn't major enough to spend another hour or two redoing it. I don't see why everyone mentioned the quality I use the same camera as jstudios (logitech quickcam 9000) Thanks for the nice comments everyone .
JOOOOOOON! You're shots always make me feel bad about mine. :C
I think something is wrong with helium frog's preview window. I did the next shot tonight and I made sure you couldn't see the edge of the back drop but I looked at it in my editor and I saw the edge .
I think I've heard of helium frog doing that before. Although you can just crop the frame sequence in your video editor.
I wanted to keep it 16x9 so I copied and edited a frame (with bucket fill tool) then put it over the video and cropped it. to cover the edge.
You can keep the same aspect ratio and still crop the frame a tiny bit. I do this all the time really.
