Topic: lifelights: is it worth it?

ive seen many people talking about lifelights im just wondering is it really worth it?
i mean why cant you just use normal LED lights and put them behind the pieces is there any sort of advantage?

Eh, I've never tried normal LEDs, but I know they don't fit through the Lego as well, and are more expensive.
Plus, you have to jury-rig a battery/wire setup each time, as opposed to just snapping in the batteries and plugging in the lights.

Here's a review I did on Lifelites if that helps.

Well, I do use my LED flashlights a lot actually. But Lifelites are for that special in-set lighting that you can't get but by tiny LEDs threaded through a set. I guess if it's cheaper, and you don't care about the wiring, then there's not really any reason to go Lifelites over something else.
