Topic: "Liberation" Live Action Short Film Trailer

Hey guys, check out the trailer for new live-action short film Liberation!

This film was completely shot and edited in 7 days for the 168 Project, a Christian speed film-making competition that gives contestants 168 hours (1 week) to shoot and edit a 10 minute short film. We were also given an additional 10 days pre-production time to write our scripts and plan our films before hand. Of course, with only 7 days to make my film, I decided to make what is, hands down, my biggest and most ambitious film yet.

172 teams signed up to compete this year (though surely a few didn't complete their films on time), and the grand prize for the winner is a feature film development deal worth up to 1 million dollars. I think me and my team stand a VERY good chance at winning! Let me know what you guys think of the trailer!

Unfortunately, due to the rules of the competition, I can't release the film online until August. I do have another film that is already complete and in the final stages of Post Production that will be released in about a month. It's a darkly comedic paranoid thriller called "Occam's Razor."

Nice to see you around! The trailer was good, I like the cinematography especially.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I actually had to refrain from showing off most of the shots that I really wanted to show. I had to hold back all the bigger, more impressive shots lest I give away the film's big twists. Trust me when I say that this movie is probably going to go a very different route than you may be expecting, and it's quite a bit larger in scope than this trailer lets on. I'm really excited to get to show it to people!

Very nice! Well edited and it is looking great. I really like the fact that it doesn't give away too much, just enough to get you interested in the final film.
