Topic: How do you build a lego gate that opens and closes simple but efficent

How can I build a lego gate that will open as 2 doors? Like for example lord of the rings return of the king those gates when they were getting broken, they go back and close as 2, so pretty much a gate a lego gate.

Any advice and pieces needed is appreciated.

There are innumerable ways of doing it. All you do is build a door, and then mirror the construction for the second part. Place them side by side, and you're done.

Just play around with any hinge bricks you may have. Or clips, or turntables, or axles or anything that can move anything else around. Try looking up how real Lego models do it, or better yet, check out the many, many MOCs that utilize double-doors. I hate to sound unhelpful, but this is something that is easily figured out, even without instructions.
A handful of bricks, and a bit of creativity could quickly solve your problem.

But, to end on a nice note, cruse around Brickset looking at the official Lego instructions for sets like Helm's Deep, The Mines or Moria, and others. Also, look at Derfel Cadarn's ever helpful building guide. It's got somethings in it that may help you. And our very own Sets and Props thread has over a hundred pages of techniques that you can borrow/draw inspiration from.
