Does anyone here know how to make this camera get noticed by my computer?
When I plug it into the windows xp computer, it shows up in the list of "devices with removeable storage". It will not come up in the "scanners and cameras" list. Until it does, anything like Stop Motion Pro, Anasazi, Helium Frog etc. will not see the camera.
The camera came with a cd called "HD Writer". It was incompatible with the computer for some reason.
PLEASE HELP.

I don't know what that means. If you mean the installation disk, it did not work.
How do I find out if it is installed? If it is not, how do I get it?

It was probably on the disk.
I can't find the drivers on www.panasonic.com.
Maybe you can call Panasonic?
