Topic: Tracking Oblivion- Story Help

mini/eek  I have this cool idea for a new brickfilm I'm wanting to make in the future.

Basic- A vagabond makes off with the greatest theft in the Establa Galaxy; he stole the military's superweapon: the Oblivion suit. So the government (determining name) sends five spec operation unit to recover it.

So there, I thought out a good idea. However, I don't want it to turn into a generic shoot em up storyline; I like story with a moral, meaning, emotion, and I'm not saying I can't do it, but I don't want to ruin a good idea. And so thats where I would like some fresh idea on it.

I had this one theme line be where the theif turns out to be a close friend of some sort, but I dunno.
Any thoughts?

Btw,any volunteers will be credited as a screenwriter in the credits mini/smile.

I would give a background to the One who steals the Oblivion suit. But don't give it away right away. give us bits and pieces of his past.

I see... I like that idea. But how should I incorporate "The Reveal" of the "Big Bad"?

Like have the Special Ops team capture the Thief, then they find out the reason he stole the suit is because the Goverment ( Unknown name ) was going to use it to force higher taxes, and those who didn't pay higher taxes would be killed. He explains to the team how he built it, telling them how to take the suit down.

Screenwriters:
jediknight1997: That is genius! mini/smile The thief steals the suit because the government would commit genocide after genocide; in turn revealing the true enemies are the commissioners who sent them.

Then, how would it end? They can't just storm off and kill the commisioners; the government will just continue to hunt down and kill all of the agents... or, maybe a reveal after the reveal shows the commisioners hiring hitmen to wipe out the agents to cover up, blaming it on the theif: life goes on. But the agents are prepared and side with the vagabond.

To give it a moral, give the object they're after melodrama and symbolism.  What exactly does the suit do?  Then, what does it represent?

Like in "Lord of the Flies", the conch shell they found is used to call everyone together.  So the one who weilds it has the power.  Everything that happens to the shell has meaning.
