That was great!
The first panning shot was amazing! The panning was smooth, the animation was great, and the sheer amount of movement was mind-blowing. The animation was very smooth throughout the film, although a little too fast for my tastes. The green-screening was good, as were the other effects. 0:45 did have a little flaw where you combined the shots of the approaching truck and train. (The bottom of the truck's tires are cut off.) But overall it was done very well. The plot was original, and executed superbly.
I rather sets made of Lego, (AKA, not a bunch of green-screened in background plates.) but for a project like this that simply isn't practical. Next time though, you may want to find plates that mesh a little better with the rest of the shot.
And I do have to ask, why is the kid not in bed at 6 AM? That's where any sane boy that age would be.

Wonderfully done and quite adorable - especially the ending! As a mom of a child who was, not long ago, called "Queen Kong" by her brothers, I can't believe that this is not a common theme in brickfilms. I thought your interpretation of the idea was delightful.
And Pritchard, until kids become teenagers, many wake up at the crack of dawn, especially on the weekends! On school days they get up at the last minute. My question is what is the mom doing up at that time on a weekend!? ![]()
P.S. I also assume it is the weekend because my kids don't play in the morning on school days or they would never be ready for school on time.

Oh, that was pretty good! I think I mainly agree with Pritchard here, but I think the greenscreened backgrounds were fine, if it was made for Tongal. I also did notice another flaw at 0:40 where you could easily see right the windows of the second train (on the far right). But, other than that, it was great. I really liked how you got creative! ![]()
