Re: Script Writing Agency

If you didn't read the top I said it's not meant to be like that thread it's meant for if you would like someone to script for you. Or help you. Not just for posting your ideas.

Re: Script Writing Agency

Chiro I dislike this idea because I think everyone should write their own scripts,I mean if someone had been writing DC/Marvel for me then I would feel like its not my film.
Sorry but I just think this is a bad idea overall
I think its more worth writing your own script and learning what it takes to write one, you get to put your own ideas in it and it just a better experience for people to do it on their own or with friends

Re: Script Writing Agency

I don't agree with you minifigurestudios. Some people find scripting hard and a difficult progress to go through, such as yourself (I mean, you're still in scripting stage right?). If other scriptwriters can help out, why not? And even if the animator animates a script he didn't write, he still can do it in his own style, and even change some parts that he didn't like. I always wrote scripts with my brother, and it still felt like my film.

Re: Script Writing Agency

well part of film making is coming up with a story so I dont agree with T.G

T.G. is in the right my friend. Most directors typically hire a script writer. Just because you don't write the script, it doesn't mean that the film isn't yours.

Re: Script Writing Agency

Ok I'll admit I might be wrong but in a way I am also right, but I leave it up to the people who want the full experience of being a film maker. I also know some people stink at writing scripts or could use some help with writing them.
In my mind we are both wrong and people can chose what they want.

I think people should have their own choice as well. People might not always want to write a script.

Re: Script Writing Agency

You're only wrong if you're telling people they have to do it your way.

Actually, it's a good idea, because not everyone is a writer.  If you have an idea for a brickfilm and have a basic idea for a plot or an outline, but aren't good at writing, the Script Writing Agency can help the idea of a good animator/editor get realized.  And isn't helping other brickfilmers what this web site is all about?

Re: Script Writing Agency

Could you try and include more specified genres?

And I'm looking for someone interested in scripting and/or storyboarding for a very mild horror/secret agent/detective kind of genre.

I have already designed a couple of sets that I do want to appear in the scene, and I have a basic idea of what I'm after. Contact me IM for more if you think you are able to help.
