Topic: Finding a microphone

Can anyone recommend me a good quality microphone?
$100 is about the max price I would pay.
I also want the microphone to be better quality than my videos right now:

Thanks for your help.

Probably one of the best, most affordable mics out there is the Snowball...  http://www.bluemic.com/snowball/

I use the Logitech USB Microphone. Works amazing!

Blue Snowball for the win! Well actually boom microphone since I do live-action also. But seriously, get the snowball.

Re: Finding a microphone

Thanks for the help. Could you explain why snowball is so good.
How does it work? Do you just record your voice and then it goes straight to your computer?

Re: Finding a microphone

As with any other USB mic, it needs a recording program to capture the audio.
You'll need to open something like Audacity, plug in your mic, and then click the record button.
When you're done, stop the recording, save the audio file somewhere half-way convenient, and you're done.

The Snowball is great because it's a very, very good quality USB mic, that is also very reasonably priced.
I just got one, and all I can say is WOW! Here's all the official specs and stuff, and you may know what all that means, but all I know is it's great, and highly recommended by brickfilmers everywhere.
