Topic: Choppiness in LS Maker?

Hi guys. For my new star wars movie I'm making, I would like to make a lightsaber effect. Whenever I try to export a movie in LS Maker, it is so choppy it won't even look like a stop motion. Have any of you guys had this problem? I need help, I've already searched google, yahoo, and youtube, but I could find anything. Any suggestions?

Do yuo have After Effects?

Re: Choppiness in LS Maker?

How many frames do you need the effect for? Would Photoshopping the individual frames be an option?

I guess I could, although, it would take much longer. And, no, I dont have AE...

I use the GIMP for my (Upcoming) lightsaber effects.

Re: Choppiness in LS Maker?

My parents don't trust LSmaker, so I have to use the GIMp. That and LSMaker just never worked for me.

Your parents don't... wtf?

Re: Choppiness in LS Maker?

They don't like programs they've never heard of. They really don't like the GIMP, but I get to use it. That, and as I said, LSMaker never really worked for me.

Re: Choppiness in LS Maker?

Well I say GIMP shuuld do the trick, as in AE you have to put in the effect FRAME BY FRAME, mini/jaw

What you need to do is go into the LSmaker folder, open up the picts folder (entitled Picts), open up the colour lightsaber and blade that you want into Photoshop, and then free-transform them to fit around the lightsaber. It does work, and it isn't very time-consuming. I have done it a couple of times, but I haven't uploaded any of said videos...

Hope this helps!
