This is easily the most ridiculous thread I've ever seen.

What is CSMC ?
On the CSMC website it states that you need your Powershots drivers installed to install CSMC and I don't have a Powershot yet and I was wondering before I purchase one, will CSMC work on Vista. I already tried to install it and it didn't work properly, because I don't have a Powershot, however it could be because CSMC is not compatible with Vista. So I was simply wondering will it work on Vista before I buy a Powershot. Thankyou Lil'jj for answering the question.

Well you need to buy a Canon Powershot. They are usually $150-$1000 USD. CSMC worked on my computer and I have Vista
@Si665
CSMC is a capture-software for canon-powershots

Ok, the drivers are only for the connection between CSMC and your Cam, what means u should be able to open CSMC. It won´t be find your cam, because u don´t have the drivers....
If you even could nor open the program istelf, ask Haukinger himself:
