Re: How to post images on BiM? (bricksinmotion)

How about thinking before asking?  Because you've been posting a lot of questions that you could have figured out on your own.  1-hour rule.  If it takes you an hour and you still can't figure it out, then ask.

Type this out and see if it works for you.

Agreed. Also if you still don't understand it re-read the topic and its replies. They sometimes have good tips too.

Sorry if I posted that. That works, sure. But I have an image that I'd like to have for my signature. How do I get it on?

Re: How to post images on BiM? (bricksinmotion)

Another thing you can post are images. Keep in mind that you cannot just upload an image to this website to post it. Instead, you upload your image to an image hosting website like Photobucket, TinyPic or Majhost. You then retrieve the direct link to the image; that is, a URL to the image itself as opposed to a page with the image on it. You can check if the link is a direct link by seeing whether your link ends with .jpg, .gif or .png (or other image types widely supported by browsers).

Remember that this is a discussion forum, not a chatroom, GHB. Please put some more time and thought into your posts before you click on Submit. I understand that this is all new to you, but it's not very respectful of other members' time and attention when you're not taking the time to read through the answers that have been given to you.
