Topic: Lego House- Walls Problem

Hey guys. So I'm halfway through my completion of a lego set that I'm going to be using for a brickfilm shortly, but for some reason the walls don't seem high enough. I've looked at tutorials, and the houses looks smaller than mine. So do I need to make the walls higher (which has worked in the past, but hasn't seem that realistic) or should I try something else completely? Also, I'm using the Logictech Quickcam Pro 9000.

Here is a link to the photo because I don't know how to upload images on BiM: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80731047@N … hotostream

I'm feeling it again!

Well, I notice a few things. One, your house is actually kinda short. How many bricks high is that? Second, you're shooting a tad farther away than most videos I've seen (using the apartment in 'Infinity Squared as a reference, in which the house is smaller but the camera is closer).

The wall is too far away.

No, I don't think so.
Generally, Lego sets are cramped, but you should make them to the proper scale.

You just need to frame up on the minifigure, as well as build the wall a bit higher higher.

This is what the Sets and Props Critique Thread is for. Also, please don't post multiple topics pertaining to the same discussion. Lastly, you can find a step-by-step guide to uploading pictures in [guide].
