Here is my version of spider's logo using LDD: http://www.flickr.com/photos/90646102@N … hotostream

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

CWStudios - I've got a potential fix.

I think this is it. The framework on the mac does not contain a .dylib or a .lib file, so it is not a library. The loadLibrary command is the wrong command because it there is no library, just a framework. So I will work on a way to properly import that.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

What do you guys think of my logo ideas?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

They're okay, good for a splash screen if they were to be assembled in real life and then had a picture taken of them, but also keep in mind that this program will not necessarily be solely for the use of lego stopmotions, so try and steer away from that avenue as much as possible, though oddly enough we are on a brickfilming® site.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

I chose lego because the "b" in biscuit stands for BRICKS in motion.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

It will mean nothing to people who find this program through means other than BiM. Like stated previously, do not limit the potential users in any way. If someone is looking for a claymation- animation software, and they just see pictures of legos in 3d space, they will become unsure and likely continue searching for other alternatives. Also, we have a very nice logo already, and have no intentions of reinventing the wheel.

The biscuit at a first glance to me looked like the front of an automobile, sort of like the engine or something, just in a weird color.

Just for you, Caveman.

Oh my gosh. I have found my new wallpaper. That is actually pretty great, perhaps if I am under a developer tab (probably won't be, but whatever) then that will be in the window possibly. Gopher, that is great. Do you have a high-res version?

I tried to make it look like repelling spider's version.

Awesome caveman, let me know how it works out.

That's still up for debate. As Caveman said...

Let's say the program becomes popular among brickfilmers, that other forms of stop-motion animation start using the program, Brick in Motion in the acronym might be a bit weird.

I found that out… after carefully examining the model

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

I think the software really shouldn't have any LEGO based things in it. The reason for this is that it is stop motion software and not brickfilming software. It is best to keep the program as broad as possible.

Although that's how it was born... mini/tongue

My life goes by 24fps.

True but it is silly to market the software to one medium of stop motion where it can handle all of it.

Yes, it's not "softwareist"- mini/tongue ( Actually "mediumist"... ah, what the heck, forget it.)

My life goes by 24fps.

Wow, I didn't expect that reaction. That logo was made as a joke! mini/lol
That was actually the highest resolution, but don't fret because I plan to make an improved version.

Have we reached an official name yet? I'm assuming it's "Biscuit" for now.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Hahaha thanks. That will totally be my new wallpaper, if a high resolution version appears. Also, it is part of my new signature mini/lol

CWStudios - I'm getting closer to to the problem. Slowly, but it's getting tracked down successfully.
