Topic: C920 image quality

I just tried a C920 and the quality wasn't as good as everyone said, is there a way to improve the image quality? And is there a big difference between the c910 and c920, cause I hear a lot of people say that they like the c910 better, is it any better and why?

Re: C920 image quality

What where you shooting at? 480p? 1080p?
I also recommend using at least two lamps and animation software like the heliumfrog animator.

Who's everyone? Because at least 8 out of 10 veteran brickfilmers would recommend getting 9K (when it comes to webcams) as it is used by so many epic animators. The stats are of course not official but that's what many of us are working with.

Everyone is reviews and friends. Thanks Zach I'm going to go try it out and see how it works.

Re: C920 image quality

Have you got all the settings on manual and turned off the right light and auto focus?
Oh and are your friends using the webcam for Brickfilming? mini/smile

I have been using it for brickfilming and haven't had any quality problems

im looking to buy it, so would you recommend it after changing the settings?

Re: C920 image quality

Yes as legomoviemaker1 said just turn off auto focus and rightlight, it has great quality and is able to work with a tripod which is a pretty big bonus. Overall I would definetly reccomend getting this.
