Topic: un-wanted blur

I got some un-wanted blur today in some footage I've been messing around and I can't fix it.
It sort of looked liked it may be the aperture so I closed it almost all the way, but it wasn't.
It's like every couple of pictures a picture will get slightly blurry.
Any one know how I can fix this? Thanks.

Is it the footage raw?

We'd be able to help you better if you gave us the video to examine. I.e. Unlisted youtube video?

Re: un-wanted blur

If you're referring to the cape, that's not blur, that's light reflection imho...

That smaller the aperture, the smaller the depth of field. Make the aperture as large as possible, if you do not want only the mini figure to be in focus, and nothing else. I like having a smaller aperture when brickfilming than to a larger one though.

Re: un-wanted blur

I think boardron hit the head of the nail. It seems to me that it is light shining directly on the cape plus your camera settings. In my "Smoothie" video, I messed with my camera settings to add a weird lighting effect... but it has that sorta polarized looking effect. Meaning, how you can see the light intensity in sections opposed to it being smooth and even.

Re: un-wanted blur

Play around with your camera settings until it looks just right.
What kind of camera do you use?

In my "Smoothie" video I adjusted the color intensity, white balance, exposure, gain, and contrast.
