Topic: A new Brickfilm Competition ! :) (not on this forum) [OPEN]

Hi ! I'm Sirkuraz, i'm french and i made a brickfilm competition on www.brick-a-brack.net

Here are the rules : http://www.brick-a-brack.net/t4636-conc … -brickfilm

It is a french forum but your goal (if you want to participate) is to adapt a picture drawn before the XXth century.
So, you make a short brickfilm of 1:30 maximum and 20 seconds minimum (a comedy if you want) with several characters who act on a brief intrigue.

I hope you'll like it mini/smile !
Bye

Re: A new Brickfilm Competition ! :) (not on this forum) [OPEN]

This sounds like a really interesting competition, my interest has been piqued. Just a few questions:
Do I have to sign up to Brick A Brack to submit?
Is copyrighted content permitted?
Does it have to be French history?

I really like the idea of this contest, it seems it could spawn some really creative entries.

I want to enter, but I'm not sure I'll find the time. I'll spread the word though.

what could have been: jeffrey and the old man make some robots

Re: A new Brickfilm Competition ! :) (not on this forum) [OPEN]

Oh wow this sounds neat! I will try my best to get an entry out, if not I will get the word around.

Very creative idea, really looking forward to seeing some entries.

Uuuh, it really looks a cool contest. I know I'm not going to do anything for it because of lack of time, but nonetheless it's another contest I'll definitely think of story for.

Re: A new Brickfilm Competition ! :) (not on this forum) [OPEN]

I can't read french. Can you post an english version of the rules?

So, we adapt the non-fictional story of what the painting is about? Or do we make a short story based around the painting which is fictional? Can someone please explain?

I think you can make a fictional or non-fictional story, as long as you include in it some elements of the painting.
