Topic: MonkeyJam help!

Today I filmed 25 seconds of animation in MonkeyJam, at 480p. I exported the .avi uncompressed, and found I had a 1.85GB file on my hands. I figured out I need to compress the file, but which compression option to choose?

Re: MonkeyJam help!

Anyone? mini/confused

Re: MonkeyJam help!

A simple windows compression will work, nothing too insane. Uncompressed (in most cases) is a bad idea.

Re: MonkeyJam help!

Okay, but there are a bunch of options. I guess I'll just have to try each one, although the MJPEG Compressor cut off 22 seconds. I'll just keep trying them, thanks.

EDIT: I figured out I was actually shooting in 1024p, and that not one compressor actually works. What now? mini/confused

Well, you could make your image smaller with a program such as Photosizer and then import the photos in MJ.

Re: MonkeyJam help!

Thanks, but I just went ahead and exported the movie in 640 x 480p. I actually meant to only film in 640 x 480, so I'll just film that way for now.

Yep, you can do that also.
