Topic: Canon camera lens: what to get?

What I have is Sony camera http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Digital-Stea … amp;sr=1-3 And I have not been using it because I need a new lens that can zoom in more. So what lens would be good to get?

Search ebay for macro filters.
Your should look for filters that come in size 55mm

Re: Canon camera lens: what to get?

I'd recommend either a prime lens (no zoom), or a zoom that has a constant aperture.

You might be able to find an older, vintage lens on eBay* and get an M42 -> Sony Alpha adapter on Amazon..

*You can also find older, vintage lenses like that at local pawn shops, camera stores, etc. Sometimes they're dirt cheap. Watch out for quality brand names (Zeiss, Takumar, Vivitar, Helios, Mir, Pentacon, Nikon, Canon, etc.)
