The rating system we have right now, from what it looks like, is based on if "I like it" or if "I don't like it" (go scroll over the bricks for the ratings, that's what the text is for them). I'm guessing this is the main reason why the rating system is being changed?
Regarding complaints on KG and others 'trolling':
We ridicule you guys because there is a general lack of maturity and intelligence on your part. That's the only reason we do it. You guys make it so easy!

Some of the mockery and ridiculing isn't always brought on by the members. Example: when I tried to help Zach with his out-of-place topic only to have a mod convert it to Spanish. Then to be ridiculed constantly by the other members when I entered chat.

Translating a conversation in a thread into Spanish was probably not one of my classiest administrative acts while running this site, but I waited until the person the message was directed at had gotten the message to do it. I like to think that having a little fun with this sort of thing is alright from time to time.

Perhaps, looking at the whole situation from a glance. Older members shouldn't fuel this drama, and younger members shouldn't create drama. If you have a life outside the internet only take that seriously, try to remember that this is a loose internet forum and that the people who post here want to have fun, and don't mean to harm you. They are not criminals if they occasionally break their norm and joke. Now, that's not going to say trolling young members is fine, and we should not feel free to annoy new members, new ones especially need guidance to get used to the rather complex way the forum operates referring to what's acceptable and what isn't.
If you are not given community access, there is a reason. The community forum was taken away because it detracted from the site purpose and many members lurked there and didn't contribute. And if you were ever banned, it was not because the mods are jerks. there was a good reason, and you must improve your act.

In my opinion, the site is doing fairly well for all the little changes it's been through recently.
Sure, the review panel is lacking, some of the Mod Squad is inactive and new members are running rampant in the forums posting in threads that have been dead for months, but look on the bright side, it could be worse.

Wait, a thread got translated into Spanish? Why does all the good stuff happen when I'm away? Anyway, I pretty much agree with everything Realbrick has said, heck, he should be made a mod. As with the whole trolling thing, I don't really think it's the mods trolling (excluding Squash, but his troll posts are too damn funny to stop him doing it) I think it's more the members who have been here longer than most people, but are not yet mods. As I've said before, if people like KG make a post just saying "cool story bro" people will laugh about it a d such. But when another member does, people say why they shouldn't make such meaningless posts.
I agree with all of Onion's ideas. I am certainly not active on this site. I's lost all it's fun or something. It's like we're slaves of Brickfilming or something. I hate to bring this back up, but the since community forum has been deleted, this site has turned into a ghost-town....

Ghost town? No way, if you just look at the number of posts I got in the community project thread you can cast that idea aside. Granted, the post numbers have gone down a bit, but that's because all the junk the Community forum generated is now gone. The discussion has taken a turn towards film-discussion, which is an excellent thing.

I don't think this is very fair to all the reviewers, a few of whom (Jargon, BuilderBrothers, etc.) were doing a fair amount of reviews until a few months ago when it was decided that the system needed to change. I was under the impression that they were supposed to put a hold on the reviews until the new system was sorted out.
I think KG needs a temporary ban.
Also,i think SOMEHOW,we have to stop spambots.
9/10 of the members is a spambot.

You cant stop spam bots, and that statistic is bollocks. Spam bots are a good sign that a forum is doing well.
And the directory needs sorting then if reviewers cant review anything.

No, it's a sign that you need to upgrade the forum to compensate for the spambot circumventing captcha or whatever is being used to authenticate human account registration.
