Really good idea!
Good idea, that would be great!
But, make sure you have the rights to use thw footage on the site
I would join.
If you're going to go to the effort of creating such a project, you might as well spend a few minutes detailing information about the project. What sorts of footage will you be gathering? What technical qualifications will you require? Where will you be hosting all this? etc.
Just a quick question...
Who is going to make the footage?
This is a pretty good idea. I definitely would go on the site but sadly I cannot make stock footage. Perhaps maybe just make a thread?
It's a good idea, but I have my doubts that brickfilm stock footage would actually look good put in another film.
I really like the idea but how are you supposed to incorporate the footage into your film:

Or is this to just post lego pics and show them off.

You have to composite the footage in editing software.
allright ill start working on the page today or tomorrow
site inder construction!
id like to see how this turns out.
Same here, if it works, it should be good
oh wow, I completely forgot about this, If anyone is still interested, I`ll see what I can do as I now obtained a subdomain of www.rednerds.com for usage.
i could possibly supply some stock footage also a good idea is because this is for brickfilms we could animate some lego pieces on a greenscreen so you could composite them and use them for lego debris for an explosion or something
You can also avoid making a site from scratch by creating a youtube/vimeo channel and having all submissions come directly to you via email.

i can make a site with iweb thats what i did with my site

Anyone! The concept of stock footage is that people shoot stuff but don't use it so they store it in a directory and let anybody else use it. I just read about it in a book about screenwriting.
BTW, I'd like to participate
