It depends on the camera and if you use a stop motion program. I'll just assume that you use a stop motion program. If your camera supports live feed you can use it for a stop motion program. Just connect the camera to your computer. If your camera doesn't have live feed you can't use it in a stop motion program.

I think so, if you use a firewire cable.
I'm not sure, and it may not be compatible with your software.
