Re: The Festival of Souls 2 [CLOSED]
Im still scripting. Just writing some lines, and make it understandable is what im doing now. Probably filming some scenes, after some fixing on my set.
I love that poster Kinz!

Thought of an amazing idea! (Thanks Mum), it will like Duplicity
Kinz, that poster is brilliant. Lets put that pointless argument behind us, neither of us were right. Love the hitchcock like style, the composition of the shot, and the eerie fog. Can't wait for it.
I am very excited to watch all of your entries. I hope I will be scared to death by them since it is Halloween.
cool!
Doesn't look scary enough. Are you sure it's not a comedy?

It's a horror contest, not a comedy contest.
If you enter something that has alot of comedy then do not expect to get a good ranking in the overall score, just saying.
Can you have subtle comedic elements in parts that aren't supposed to be scary? Just wondering.
Sometimes, a joke or two is okay.
Like Brian De Palma even said, when he was building up the tension and suspense in Carrie, you've gotta let the audience breath. So a joke is okay, and gives your audience time to breath. Then continue the suspense.

I think DW was being sarcastic.

I like the guy, but the text is way to bright and the actual set is multicoloured. Which ALWAYS looks unproffessional.

Alright though I like the color.
I am going to be honest. I think it needs more effort.
First of all, the image is out of focus and doesn't look much like a poster. Second of all, the text color and placement seems very unfitting. I could give a few suggestions.
First of all,
I would make the image a bit more attractive and let the audience have a focal point, because right now, all we see are a few bricks and a minifigure torso, and part of a head. Perhaps make a portrait of the protagonist and present it in an attractive manner. For the title, I would consider placing it in a more appropriate place and adjusting the color so it fits the mood. It doesn't look very much like a horror poster to me.
