Right now i have Istopmotion home but i am already at its limits.
I need a frame capture software that allows for HD import and export with onion skinning.
Because istopmotion cant produce hd video even when i animate with a dslr.
is there any freeware available because i know dragon and istopmotion pro have the capabilities.

I have a problem similar to yours: I can not put the settings of my logitech webcam c300 to manual to avoid the light flickers. So I'm looking for a new freeware with onion skinning.

Get Dragon. So much better than Istopmotion. It can even do 3D if you want. That's an actual professional program. I recommend it!
I use Dragon Stop Motion and I love it. It works on both Mac OS X and Windows. It is great for DLSR's. Unfortantly it is kind of expensive. Check it out they have a free 30 day trial http://www.dragonstopmotion.com/

ah jeez I saw it two years ago and ive looked at it repeatedly.
Its just ongoing topics that have questions dont get much response or attention.
Then it's up to the community to ANSWER those questions. It's not only mods and certain members who can.
