Hi,
Could any body tell me how to map an animated face onto a 3D cylinder in after effects so a mouth can mpve around a minifigs face?
Thanks

There's a link on my youtube channel (see link in sig) that shows you how to animate faces in AE. Mapping it onto a cylinder is as easy as activating the CC Cylinder plugin on your animated face layer.
Drawing inspiration from Buxton's style, I draw the individual faces in Illustrator then animate them on a solid in AE, like this.
Then As Buxton said above it's a simple matter of Throwing the CC Cylinder effect on the layer. Move this around in 3d space until it lines up with your minifig's head - you'll get something like this.
Thanks, surprisingly easy!
