HI,
if you know what miniland is, then you problably know, that its cars move by themselves, my questions at this point are:
How do they move?
How to make my lego cars move whitout any visible guidance when my city is on my table?
If you mean mini land as in legoland mini land, then I'm pretty sure they have a sort of track they go round. Can't really remember, haven't been there for years.
Alternately they could use magnets, and by sticking a bit of metal under the car it'll follow the magnet (assuming it's strong enough and the ground isn't to think). I'm not really sure how you'd do that under a table though, experiment a bit.
They might have NXT powering them. I'm not sure.
Have you seen how small sme of them are?
Not really since I've never been to any Legoland. It was just a guess.
