Re: Q&A Topic
Okay, I don't think I can though. When I shoot at such a large resolution it takes up my entire screen.

What software are you using for frame capture?
I use MonkeyJam for frame capture. I really need this question answered though because I need to start animating for BRAWL.
nvm, found out the answer.

I've got a question.
Does anybody know a website where one can download royalty free like folk songs or something? Like 'Scotland the Brave' or 'What Shall we do with a Drunken Sailor'?
Thanks!
you probably already know about it though.. i didn't see a folk category, but i bet there's some music around there.

Yes, he knows about it. There's a Celtic and Folk collection (click on Collections).

ahh, i see.
Okay guys, I have a question.
Does anyone here know how to do masking/rig removal in Dragon? I read here that you need something like AE. But I don't have AE, so how do I do it?
I have also posted a question concerning this on the forums of the Dragon site here, but I thought that I would try my luck asking it here too. I know quite a few people here use it, so they might be able to give me some ideas.
Maybe would should should take the photos regularly without Dragon, put them into your photo editor, mask, then put them in Dragon.
Could that work?

That was what I was hoping to do but for 1 I can't find an 'Import frames option' on Dragon and for 2 I don't know how to capture stills with my camera, it's quite old so it only does video. There may be a way to capture them to my mac, but I don't think they'll be in the same aspect ratio as the rest.
I did want to be able to capture, edit, and import but I'm not sure how to do it. I want to get a DSLR, which probably could capture the frames to my mac. But I'm still not sure how to import them into Dragon.
Thanks for the help though ANP. Anyone else got any other ideas? How do the people here who actually use Dragon do it? I just really want to know how to do it without needing AE.

Does Dragon have a time (what do you call it again?) lapse or time line?:P If so, just drag out to the desktop/Finder/other programs you use. Edit and stuff, and drag back from desktop/Finder. Not sure if it works, but you could try. Never tried Dragon but this works in both FramebyFrame and iStopmotion.
A question: I use FramebyFrame and iMovie for editing. Slippery studios said that when I upload through iMovie it hurts the video quality. Its true, right? I think it is, cuz the film was like double the quality in FramebyFrame
So, I wondered if anyone knew about a good free editing software? That doesn´t hurt my quality.
Its just temporary until I buy a laptop. Then I´ll use Sony Vegas 10 for editing.

It doesn't seem like it. Its a bit strange actually. I used istopmotion before Dragon, and I found that sometimes the editing and putting back worked (not all the time though, istopmotion made it a weird aspect ratio most of the time).
But Dragon has a slider where you can slide back and forth between points in your film. But no individual frames in a timeline.

Try here.
Well, thats weird. Then, I have no idea how.
btw, thanks for link

I have a question:
how do you make the TV screens like in this Movie at 0:38

You use a software package like Sony Vegas and then take a video file and put it on top of the original file.
I've forgotten the tutorial I saw to do it but it's on YouTube somewhere.
You change the settings to advanced in preferences. Then you just drag the TV over the original layer and select picture in picture or screen in screen.
Tht works in 08, 09, and 11
I wrote a tutorial on how to do that in Axogon Composer a while ago.
Thanks but that brings up another question:
Where do I get Axogon Composer?
On Smegol's Website I belive he said it was free but I cant find it anywhere
