What exactly do you mean by "Video Noise".
Do you use frame averaging?
No. I haven't heard of it. Just googled it. I'll try it.
Frame averaging can be done in Stop Motion Pro, Helium Frog and Monkeyjam.
You can also remove noise in virtualdub.
It didn't work. See, 0ldScratch and I and a lot of other Brickfilmers use the same camera, but he can get dark scenes from it like it's an SLR. I need to figure out how to do this.
It's the same problem I have. Is OldScratch able to remove the noise some how?
Frame averaging.
What exactly is that?
Well, video noise is a kind of grain that happens when the camera doesn't know what to put in a certain pixel, so it replaces it with it's best guess. Frame averaging allows you to automatically take multiple pictures at once and average them all out so the camera knows what to put where.
How can I do frame averaging? Can AE or Premiere Pro do it?
No, it must be done in-camera.
Frame averaging takes about ten pictures for each frame and averages them into one, less grainy picture.
Can be done in Monkeyjam, Stop Motion Pro and Helium Frog.
If you can't use these programs noise reduction can be done in Virtualdub. There is a filter called dynamic noise reduction.
If you are using a mac, I don't know how to do it.
Can you tell me how to do it in Helium Frog?
I can record a video clip for you.
I'll post it as soon as possible.
You mean a tutorial?
Thanks.
Ok, here you go.
No sound, but I don't think it needs that.

Can you show me how to do that in SMP? It might be useful when I do night scenes.
You mean frame averaging?
I can put together a tutorial if you want to.
